This book is written by Andrew Clements, who also wrote Frindle. It is about two middle school girls who plot to publish a book. Zoe, Natalie's best friend, is confident that Natalie's book deserves to be published. On the other hand, how can a 12-year-old girl publish a book? Natalie doesn't want to solicit any favours from her mother, who works as an editor for a significant children's publisher. Then Zoe gets a wonderful idea: Natalie can use a pen name to submit her novel, and Zoe can serve as her literary agent. Even with a little assistance from a couple of sympathetic but sceptic genuine grownups, it's not simple for two sixth graders to pass for adults. They may hold the next big school book, but can they write it?
