This book is a collection of short stories inspired by various prompts that the used to communicate her culturally unique experiences. Writing these were opportunities to re-engage with many cherished memories while deliberating on the way they are to be remembered and conveyed. The first story, The Repertoire, describes the excitement of a first Bharatanatyam recital and the dancer's self-consciousness on stage. In the story Soir?e, the author has captured the thrill of a rising action and the satisfaction of a resolution without an absolute plot structure. One of the unifying threads in this book is that it offers an introspective discussion of mundane, familiar concepts which are not commonly seen translated through literature. Proceeds from this book will go to Artists for Artists Covid Relief Initiatives by ABHAI (Association of Bharatanatyam Artists of India) of which the author is a member.
