President of Chaturanga, a famous theatre organization of Bihar for ten years. Former General Secretary of Bihar Bengali Samiti. Former member of the Executive Committee of Bihar Rabindra Parishad. Written Hindi and Bengali plays of various genres performed in various stages in Patna. Special recognition from the Government of Bihar for his significant service to the Hindi language. Currently residing in Kolkata after retirement.
