The Sonudarya-Lahari holds a special place among the literary creations connected to Sakti worship and Tantric philosophical systems. Adi Sankara received his instruction in Kundalini from Gurupadacharya, the creator of the significant book "Subhayodaya." Sri Sankaracharya received specific instructions based on the guru's own experience after studying, applying, and internalising the concepts in this work. He then added his own personal experience to the information above and created this well-known composition, which consists of 100 slokas, of which the first 41 form the "Ananda Lahari" and the remaining 76 the "Soundarya Lahari". The writings of numerous eminent scholars have been collected and translated into English in this volume. Yantras are used to illustrate each "Prayoga."
