Many of the diagrams in the Workbook have been redrawn and greatly improved to match with those in the Textbook. This step would provide ideal orientation to the students for better diagnosis and prognosis of the histopathological tissues during their clinical years of study. As everyone knows, histology formes the basis of histopathology, which in turn is the backbone of medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, correct and proper knowledge of histology is need of the hour for every MBBS student, and the budding future clinician.
