This book provides an introduction to Numerical Analysis for the students of Mathematics and Engineering. The edition is upgraded in accordance with the syllabus prescribed in most of the Indian Universities.

This book offers the following topics: Approximate and Numerical Solutions of Algebraic and Transcendental Equations. Interpolation of Functions, Numerical Differentiation, Numerical Integration and Numerical Solutions of Ordinary Differential Equations. There is a chapter on Hermite Polynomials. The last three chapters deal with Curve Fitting, Eigen Values, Eigen Vectors and Regression Analysis.
