The first science fair at Despres Elementary School has Jacob Drake giddy with anticipation. The big prize is a brand-new Hyper-Cross-Functional Bluntium Twelve computer, which he hopes to win. And he really wants to defeat Kevin Young and Marsha McCall, the third-grade snobs. The problem is that Jake will have to learn all the know-it-all tricks in order to defeat them. He can even suffer greater losses than gains.
